Have a favourite poem you’d love to share?

Or perhaps a hidden talent for bringing words to life?

On 19 September (7pm), St Mary-le-More will be hosting Poems, Pimm’s & Puddings – a glittering evening of poetry, refreshments and community, all in support of our eco-heating campaign.

We’re looking for volunteers to join our line-up of performers and recite a poem of their choice. It can be classic or contemporary, serious or humorous, from memory or read from the page – all are welcome!

Expect a warm, friendly atmosphere, wonderful poetry, and a refreshing interval of Pimm’s, puddings and good company.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or have never read aloud in public before, we’d love to hear from you. Every contribution will help make this a memorable evening while supporting an important project for St Mary’s.
